We know how much you love receiving GDPR bumf.
Great isn’t it?! Right up there with more news about Brexit.
Only, you’re gonna have to look into it some time. And if you want to (OK, have to) get up to speed with GDPR, then you should probably get your information straight from the horse’s mouth – right?

… take a trip to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) website and trawl your way through all their multitude of sources, white papers, terms & conditions and assorted years’ worth of statements and appendices.
Well, we wouldn't make you do that, now would we? So, we’ve done it for you.
We’ve compiled links to some of their most relevant and digestible missives, so all you have to do is put aside the odd half an hour, click through to these documents and you’ll get right up to speed in no time at all.
1. GDPR 12 steps to take right now - gives you some great background on the key points you’ll have to cover before 25th May 2018.
2. Direct Marketing checklist - if you’re a direct marketer, here’s a checklist covering consent, bought-in lists and marketing sorted by communication channel. If you can tick all these boxes, you should be fine.
3. If you’ve a bit more time on your hands, you’ll find the ICO’s reasonably comprehensive guide to the GDPR a pretty gripping read and you should come out of it well versed on the GDPR regulations (woop!).
Of course, if you’d rather do your learning in a workshop, Webmart runs regular GDPR workshops at the Yellow Shed of Wonderment, so sign yourselves up and let some of our experts talk at you and fill you in on everything you need to know.
In the meantime, don’t forget, 25th May 2018 is the date at which you’ll need to be GDPR compliant (at which point Celebrity Big Brother will be over too and you’ll just be left with news articles on Brexit - bliss). Good luck!
