Apprentice PA (Bicester)

 

Here at the Yellow Shed of Wonderment in Bicester, we are looking for an Apprentice PA to work alongside the Executive Assistant to the CEO.  This is an amazing opportunity to learn your trade as a PA in a fun, fast & funky business.

You’ll need to be pro-active, a quick learner and comfortable communicating with people internally and externally – with everyone from our amazing cleaner Paula to the CEO’s of our customers and suppliers.

About You... you'll need:

  • Good communication skills, written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Internet savvy with a love for research
  • Full driving licence
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Passion, drive, energy, a sense of humour and a great attitude
  • An open and enthusiastic nature coupled with the ability to maintain confidentiality and to operate with discretion where required

 

What you'll get up to:

It’s impossible to list all the things you’ll help to do, but in general we think a PA saves a third of the CEO’s time by doing everything they can to maximise his day. Here are some examples:

  • Transcribing voice notes and typing documents
  • Answering incoming calls and forwarding where appropriate
  • Drafting communications on CEO’s behalf
  • Preparing presentations
  • Managing the diary
  • Planning and organising meetings
  • Conducting research
  • Planning, organising and managing events
  • Organising charitable donations
  • Arranging travel and preparing complex travel itineraries
  • Attending meetings, taking action points and writing minutes
  • Managing projects
  • Completing expenses
  • Greeting visitors to the Yellow Shed
