Here at the Yellow Shed of Wonderment in Bicester, we are looking for an Apprentice PA to work alongside the Executive Assistant to the CEO. This is an amazing opportunity to learn your trade as a PA in a fun, fast & funky business.
You’ll need to be pro-active, a quick learner and comfortable communicating with people internally and externally – with everyone from our amazing cleaner Paula to the CEO’s of our customers and suppliers.
About You... you'll need:
What you'll get up to:
It’s impossible to list all the things you’ll help to do, but in general we think a PA saves a third of the CEO’s time by doing everything they can to maximise his day. Here are some examples:
Webmart was born in 1996, formed to help people get more out of all of their marketing – whether that's in-store point of sale or catalogues, whether it's digital marketing or TV and radio. Our current clients include household names like Microsoft, Marshall Amps, Firebox and Barnado’s.
Because we’re a Marxist-capitalist business, profits are shared with employees (after two years’ service) and work perks include free ironing, bike-to-work scheme and cheeky wind-down drink on Friday afternoons (yay!). Dress code is casual. We also have a free gym on site, Wheel of Fortune style give-aways, a Printerest Room showcase area with cinema along with other themed meeting rooms (where else will you have an interview on a plane?), free food Fridays, a mobile office van, an eco-house in a Scottish forest by the sea for holidays, the Festival Flyer camper van, counselling services – and way too many other stress and labour-saving innovations to mention here.
We’re a little different – hopefully in a good way. We’re a bunch of genuinely altruistic folks who are deadly serious about pushing the boundaries when adding value to our customers, to our suppliers and to those less well off. Webmart is carbon-positive and has donated around £500,000 to charity so far.
To apply, please send your CV and cover letter to Carla using the form below, along with a short video about you and why you’d be good for the job (phone video’s fine) which you can either email to email@example.com or upload to the video service of your choice and send a link in your cover letter (probably the best option as it's likely to be too big for email). You can also find details of the role and apply through the National Apprenticeship Service.
