A letter from Webmart CEO, Simon, to customers and partners about how Webmart will be operating throughout the Covid-19 outbreak and how Webmart is organised to protect your business continuity.
As a valued Webmart customer and in light of the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, I wanted to let you know the steps Webmart is taking to safeguard the work we’re managing on your behalf.
Of course, at this stage it’s impossible to predict the full impact COVID-19 might have on our businesses and society at large. Thankfully, because Webmart is ISO27001 certified, we have a business continuity plan in place which is tested annually; most recently in January 2020.
This allows Webmart to continue operating securely and remotely. All our systems are 100% cloud based (Azure & AWS) and were built on the principle of being able to provide outstanding customer service at any time from any place in the world.
So, if necessary, Webmart will continue to operate as normal but with staff working securely and remotely (which around 40% already do on a weekly basis). Email and mobile phone contact will continue uninterrupted, and our team-based project management systems mean that all our teams have access to up to date project information and can step in to manage your project should any team member contract COVID-19.
Of course, we work with over 200 suppliers across the UK to deliver your projects and COVID-19 may impact on their capacity to deliver too.
The good news is that our breadth of supplier relationships gives us access to additional capacity should the need arise – and also gives us geographical resiliency should certain printers not be available for a period of time.
We will continue to monitor the impact of COVID-19 on our customers’ behalf. If any of the orders you entrusted to Webmart are impacted, we will be in touch with options on alternative suppliers to do our utmost to meet your deadlines.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact your account manager or myself- we are both are more than happy to help.
